Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Training Sr Manager to support our global training efforts. This critical role reports to the VP of Talent and will ensure that our employees and stakeholders are educated and compliant with key legal, health, safety, organizational, and departmental requirements. The successful candidate will work with internal stakeholders to create a robust training strategy, drive program implementation and readiness efforts, manage vendor relationships, and must have experience in health and safety training globally.
Note: Program Management will be the main focus of the role for the first 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:
Training Strategy Development:
- Align with Department leaders to create a global training structure that aligns with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Establish scalable processes for training deployment and updates.
- Determine build or buy approach for each requirement.
- Work with Department Leaders to identify goals and needs and evaluate solutions to meet those needs.
- Partner with legal, compliance, HR, and support teams to ensure training content meets all relevant legal and compliance standards.
- Act as a liaison between various departments to ensure consistency and alignment in compliance messaging.
- Determine the most effective methods, content, and formats for delivering training (e.g., e-learning, in-person sessions, workshops).
- Oversee the implementation and integration of training platforms and technologies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed.
- Select, implement, and manage relationships with external training vendors, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of services.
- Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor performance to meet organizational requirements.
- Track and report on global training completion rates and compliance metrics.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide insights and updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Create and document processes, workflows, and best practices for managing training.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in compliance training, learning and development, or a related field with a global scope. Global Health and Safety ownership is a plus.
- Proven experience managing large-scale training programs across multiple countries.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and training technologies.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
